Tyler McIntyre is an architecture, engineering and construction industry professional with proven success in leading exceptional teams and developing innovative projects. As a Partner at Fairstead and head of the Design and Construction division, Tyler oversees the development, construction, and rehabilitation of more than 12,500 units of the company’s national portfolio, including: ground-up construction, major occupied rehabs, gut renovations and major capital improvements. Tyler works alongside his partners and colleagues to maximize project quality while optimizing financial and ESG solutions.
Prior to joining Fairstead, Tyler held positions at Tetra Tech, Lendlease and RockFarmer Capital where he focused on the design and ground-up construction of commercial, multifamily and healthcare facilities.
Tyler holds an M.S. degree in Urban Planning and Construction Management from the Whiting School of Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, and two degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Economics from Dartmouth College. Tyler serves on the board of the Van Alen Council.
